The robots have figured out that I live and work in this state (and I Google all kinds of things about Montana) so it thought I might appreciate vacationing here, too. I love staycations, but when I saw an ad for this Montana VRBO in my feed, I was surprised to see the outpouring of love for Montana just based on this property.

If the house comes with a name, it is usually so fantastic it's earned having a name. Skwala is the scientific name for a genus of springfly, the perfect name for a vacation rental with incredible access to fly fishing. Fly fishing is a sure way to make a person fall in love with Montana.
The lodge, managed by Collin Hohman and featured in Dwell Magazine, can sleep 12 people and has standard, yet desirable amenities like a fireplace and garden.
But the architecture is what really sets it apart.
