With fall officially here, it’s time to get ready for the change of seasons. As we continue to lose daylight, we will see cooler weather making its way into the state. This fall it may take a little longer for us to start seeing the real cold come in.
Preparing for Montana’s Cooler Days

There are a lot of people who love the fall in Montana. Personally, I am one of them. Fall is my favorite time of the year. Time to bring out the hoodies and turn on the oven.
On a recent warm and beautiful day, I did what a lot of people have been doing lately: I mowed the lawn. While cleaning out my shed, I had to move my stack of winter tires, and I started thinking about the eventual arrival of winter.

As I packed away my hoses for the season, I realized there are things I traditionally do as I prepare for the season. For me, as I look forward to my favorite season, I get out my hoodies and layers for the colder mornings and warmer afternoons. I check my baking supplies and get ready for the cooler weather to turn on the oven for some tasty treats and bread.
