Missoula, MT’s Red Cross ‘Give A Pint’ Event Is Coming Soon

The American Red Cross of Montana needs your help. It is that time of year for the "Give A Pint" blood drive event on Monday May 1st at the DoubleTree Hotel,100 Madison Street in Missoula. The summer travel season will be starting in Montana before you know it and that is a very busy time for the American Red Cross. With more people traveling, there are more accidents and the need for life saving blood is crucial.

Donating Blood Can Save Multiple Lives

I have been a donor for years. Every time I donate, I am reminded that every pint of blood can help save the lives of three people. The Red Cross has been expanding their campaigns to help motivate more blood donations. They have teamed up again with FINN Restaurant and Big Dipper Ice Cream to help motivate more donations.

When You Donate You Get Something Back

When you donate a pint of blood you will get a gift certificate for either FINN restaurant or Big Dipper Ice Cream. If you would like to donate blood you can register at redcrossblood.org. When you register, please use the code "MISSOULA". The past few years there has been a friendly competition between Missoula and Great Falls to see who can get the most donations. I think we can beat them this year, with your help.
