5 Simple Missoula Valentine’s Day Date Suggestions
When you have been together with someone for a while, it may be difficult to keep that "spark" alive in your relationship. Especially if you have been through a Valentine's Day or two, or thirty. If you are tired of doing the same things and are looking for something different to do this Valentine's Day, Missoula has a lot to offer. These ideas aren't just for people who have been together for a while. Some of the ideas can also be used for a first date. Here are 5 simple ways you can make your Valentine's Day memorable in Missoula.
5 Missoula Alternative Date Ideas
Painting With A Twist- I am not the most artistic person, but this is something that can be done together as a couple. You can cheer each other on, and at the end of the night you actually have a piece of art to take home to remember the day.
Missoula's Butterfly House- The newest addition to the Missoula Fairgrounds is a quiet place where you can spend some special time together and maybe learn something new with that special someone. It also may be a place that your partner has never been before, since it's fairly new.
Buy A Record Together- Missoula has a wide variety of places to get your hands on some vinyl. Ear Candy Music, Rockin' Rudy's Record Heaven, and Slant Street Records all are excellent choices for music. You can pick out a record together, maybe something you haven't heard before, or an album that contains "your song". This is also cool because it gives you the chance to listen to your record down the road and re-live the date.
Volunteer Together- If you want something that is really original. You can become a volunteer at the Humane Society of Western Montana. They have a program called "Date With a Dog". You can take a dog from the shelter for a walk as part of your date. You get a memory and the dog gets some time outside.
Silent Book Club- This one would be memorable, I am not quite sure how enjoyable it would be for a date. Maybe this would be better for the couple that has been together for a while. For those that don't know what this is, it is just what is sounds like, a book club where people get together and read silently. You can do a lot of "talking" with just your eyes on this date.
Valentine's Day, February 14th, falls on the most romantic day of the week this year, a Wednesday. Let's hope you make the best out of your romantic holiday this year.
