Driving along Brooks Street the other day, I noticed the for-sale sign outside of the old Elevated Dispensary was gone. It was replaced with a new sign announcing that Honey Jewelers would be moving into the building.

Meet Wade Honey: Treasure Artisan of Missoula

I spoke with Owner Wade Honey, who has been creating jewelry in Missoula for over 40 years, and confirmed that the business plans to relocate to the new location by the intersection many longtime residents still refer to as "Malfunction Junction."

The building should be familiar to many Missoulians. Elevated previously occupied the location after redeveloping the property that once housed Blackjack Pizza. The business made headlines a few years ago after a vehicle crashed into the building.

Honey Jewelers: A Longstanding Community Gem

Honey Jewelers has a long history in Missoula. The business originally opened in the Paxson Plaza before moving to its current Brooks Street location.

According to Honey, the move is expected to take place within the next couple of weeks. An official opening date for the new location has not yet been announced, but the business plans to keep customers updated as the move progresses.
