There have been some fantastic skiers that have started their careers in Montana and this year there will be another batch of young skiers honing their skills. Being a competitive skier not only takes a physical commitment, but it is an expensive one. This is your chance to help the Missoula Freestyle Ski Team. They are holding a fundraiser on Friday, November 8th at 6 pm at Missoula Freecycles at 732 1st Street.
The theme is going to be an old school "1980's dance party", with pizza, bingo, auction items, ski videos and more. This is an opportunity for you to help out a great organization and some pretty amazing Montana kids too.

These amazing skiers have represented Montana on some of the world's biggest stages. The Missoula Freestyle Ski Team strives to keep costs down. According to Korey Wolferman, who is a parent of a skier, and has also been an instructor and board member.
Our team fees are pretty much the lowest in the nation and we want to keep it that way. Many traveling sports are expensive, but skiing is up there with the big dogs. Fundraising keeps our fees lower and we are able to give scholarships to help anyone that requests it.
So make plans to attend the event and help out the next generation of skiers. Tickets are $15 and are available here. Check out these amazing pics of the first Winter Olympics.
