For live music fans in Missoula, 2024 was an historic year

There were 3 major concerts at Washington Grizzly Stadium that summer. Pearl Jam put on a sold-out show with special guest Lukas Nelson. P!nk flew around the stadium, in a harness, while singing her heart out. Tyler Childers put on the first drone light show ever at the stadium.

What I found amazing about these particular shows was the short amount of time between the shows. The Pearl Jam show was on a Thursday and the Tyler Childers was on Saturday two days later. The tour crews for those bands need to be acknowledged. The fact that Pearl Jam and Tyler Childers' crews pulled it off was incredible. Then there was P!nk and that same week was the first home University of Montana Grizzly Football game. My hat is off to not only the tour crews for the bands, but to the entire staff of Washington Grizzly Stadium for pulling it all together.

Those were just three shows at that one venue. That doesn't take into account the amazing shows at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater, the Big Sky Brewing Amphitheater, and the Wilma Theater. Live music fans have been spoiled in 2024. Over the next few months we will start to see announcements for shows coming up in 2025. Weird Al Yankovic has already announce dates for 2025 at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater with Puddles the Clown, opening the show.

With the big shows we saw in 2024, there is hope we will be able to see even more major performances in Missoula in 2025

We were treated to concerts from rock, country and a pop artist at the states biggest venue. There was something for almost everyone. We wanted to know who you want to see come to town in 2025, so we took to social media and asked and a lot of you answered. Here are 49 of the bands you want to see come to Missoula in 2025.
