100MPH Chase Ends At Gray Wolf Casino Parking Lot in Missoula
Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On March 11, 2026, at 10:36 A.M., a Missoula County Sheriff’s Office Deputy was traveling west near mile marker 97on I‑90. The Deputy observed a blue Jeep a few cars ahead of him. The driver of this blue Jeep was later identified as 42-year-old Brandon Guisti.
The Deputy observed Brandon pass a semi-truck using the right‑hand lane and then conduct an unsafe lane change to position himself between another vehicle and the semi‑truck. The Deputy observed Brandon get in front of the semi-truck it passed and then take the exit to Highway 93 North (toward the Wye).
The Deputy activated his emergency lights and siren to initiate a traffic stop as the vehicle was signaling to enter Muralt’s parking lot. Brandon began accelerating and driving south toward Taco Bell. Brandon continued accelerating as he turned left and began traveling east between the Days Inn and the Wye West Casino.

Brandon briefly continued west on Cartage Road, running a red light to enter Highway 93. The Deputy continued to follow the vehicle with emergency lights and sirens activated. The Jeep continued traveling north, exceeding 100 mph.
Confronting the Suspect: Tense Moments
Dispatch advised that Brandon had a history of having a revolver in his vehicle. The Deputy observed Brandon slow to 58 mph, suggesting he might enter the Gray Wolf Casino parking lot. The vehicle turned into the parking lot and came to a stop in one of the spaces. In total, the chase lasted approximately seven minutes.
The Deputy exited his patrol vehicle, drew his pistol, and pointed it toward the driver's side area. The Deputy gave instructions to Brandon to keep his hands out of the window. Brandon threw the vehicle’s door open and jumped out of the vehicle. The Deputy gave commands for Brandon to stop and to walk backward towards him. As Brandon walked back, he twice reached for his beltline, prompting the Deputy to warn Brandon to keep his hands up. Brandon was taken into custody without further incident.
The Deputy advised Brandon of his rights under Miranda, and Brandon agreed to speak. When asked why he fled, Brandon stated that he panicked because he had a $100 warrant out of Missoula County. The Deputy observed that Brandon’s mouth appeared dry and that he swallowed frequently to wet it—an indicator consistent with recent marijuana or drug use.
