I stumbled across a USA Today 10Best piece titled "VOTE NOW: Best Minor League Baseball Mascot."

Oh yeah, this is right up my alley. How does our local mascot, Paxson, stack up against some of the country's favorite Minor League mascots?

Right now, Orion with the Sugar Land Space Cowboys is leading the pack right now in the vote for the favorite Minor League mascot.

Paxson is better.

In second place is Mr. Celery with the Wilmington Blue Rocks. He's literally a celery stalk.

Paxson is better than a freakin' celery stalk.

And in third place is Muddonna with the Toledo Mud Hens.

Paxson is better. Give me Paxson over all of them, except for maybe the mascot I voted for: Ted E. Bear.

I mean, come on... he's a teddy bear named after Teddy Roosevelt. You can't beat him.
