Montana’s Most Overpriced Fast Food Chain: 17 Locations Statewide
I will never forget my first trip outside of the US. I graduated High School and elected to take a tour of Mexico before leaving for the Fall semester at the University of Montana. I traveled with my older brother for a week in Cancun. Fast forward 5 days into the trip, and we were ready to be back home. We even paid an extra fee to come home a day earlier. WHY? We were sick of the food and partied a little too hard.
When we returned to the States, we were immediately drawn to a glowing beacon of light. That light came from a giant WENDY'S sign. We were back in the good ol' U.S.A! We ordered half the menu and almost wept as we were taking each bite. God Bless America and fresh hamburgers.
As you can probably tell, I am a fan of fast food. Wendy's must be thinking pretty highly of themselves too. Because Wendy's has recently become the most overpriced fast-food restaurant in the country.
According to eathis.com
Wendy's earns the notorious title of the most expensive fast food chain this year, beating out last year's "winner" Burger King. Wendy's prices increased by an eyebrow-raising 35% this year.
You may have recently had to pick your jaw off the ground when you heard the total of your last fast-food order. We are blown away by how expensive fast food has gotten. Going from one of the most inexpensive options for a meal to one of the occasional "luxury" purchases.
Montana has 17 Wendy's locations spread out across the state. With Montana being one of the least affordable places for housing and near the bottom of the list on median household income, Wendy's may not be selling many cheeseburgers if the prices continue to climb.
