This sentiment has been echoed in books, stories, poems, songs, and movies over the years. Talking about sex in everyday conversations isn't something that most people do, at least not the conversations that I am a part of. But let's face it, people do have sex, even out here in Big Sky Country.

These days pollsters and surveys are asking all kinds of questions from all kinds of different people. Most of them have to do with the political climate, but not all of them. According to Digg.com there was a recent survey from NapLab wanted to find out which states are having the best sex, so they asked. They surveyed 1000 people and asked them to rate their sex lives on a scale of 1 to 10 to see just who is having the best sex. Montana did not rank very high on this list.

According to the results the average ranking, on the 1 to 10 scale across the U.S., is a 4.770. Montana is below the average with a ranking of 4.043, placing us at number 37 on the list.

The state having the best sex is Oklahoma with a 6.792 and the state that has the worst sex is Alaska with a score of 2.524 . When it comes to Montana's neighbors the only state that ranks lower is North Dakota coming in at number 44 on the list with a 3.650. Idaho, Wyoming, and South Dakota all rank higher than Montana when it comes to the best sex.

Montana our work is cut out for us. We can either start giving higher scores on those surveys or we need to start working together in the bedroom to legitimately raise our scores.
