When I see the three words "Made In Montana", I always feel a certain pride in knowing that there are businesses that started in Montana and have thrived. It isn't always easy starting your own business, and being able to do that in Montana is something special.

It Was Always Apparent When Something Was Made in Montana

There was a time when products that were made in Montana didn't have a sticker on them letting you know they were made in our own backyard. As a kid, I didn't always read the labels to find out where things came from. I also didn't pay much attention to businesses that started in Montana, because I was a kid. For example my family shopped at Buttrey's grocery store when I was a kid. I had no idea that the grocery store chain was started in Havre, Montana.

What's Your Favorite Montana Business?

It got me thinking about businesses that were started in Montana that people really appreciate. So we asked our listeners what's their "favorite" business that started in Montana. There are some really great answers. You may have enjoyed products from some of these businesses and had no idea they came from Montana. Or maybe you are more in tune with all of them and have enjoyed every one. Either way, it is time to give credit to some favorite "Montana Made" businesses.
