Missoula’s Fierce Fab Festival Is Back With a Beautiful New Tribute
This weekend, there's a great event happening in Missoula for women runners, walkers, joggers, and, yes, even prancercisers.
The Fierce Fab Women's Running Festival is back.
Event Details: What You Need to Know
Presented by Run Wild Missoula, the event takes place Sunday, September 27, at the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula, with the fun getting underway at 9:30 a.m.
This is one of those events where you don't have to worry about your pace, your distance, or how fast you're going.
Participants can walk, jog, run, dance, prancercise, or do whatever feels right for them. The goal is simply to complete as many one-mile laps as you'd like during the two-hour event.

There's no pressure. It's about community and celebrating the incredible women around us.
Celebrate Survivors: Strength Meets Sparkle
“Fierce Fab is where strength meets sparkle,” said Tricia Drobeck, executive director of Run Wild Missoula. “Every lap is a chance to celebrate survivors, honor those we've lost, and have a whole lot of fun while supporting a community that continues to show up for one another.”
There will be plenty happening throughout the morning, including glitter and face painting, lively music and dancing, brunch bites, a mimosa bar for those 21 and older, and some epic raffle prizes.
There's also something new this year that I think is a really beautiful addition.
Honor and Remembrance: A Tribute to Loved Ones
The festival will feature a flower memorial honoring those lost to breast cancer. Each participant will receive a flower to place along the finish-line chute in memory of someone they've lost. Together, those flowers will create a colorful tribute representing remembrance and community.

The Fierce Fab Women's Running Festival is presented by the Silver Lining Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering breast cancer survivors in mind, body, and spirit.
So, if you're looking for something fun to do this Sunday, grab your friends, put on something sparkly, and head to Fort Missoula.
You don't have to be a serious runner. You don't even have to be a runner.
Just show up, have some fun, and support an amazing community.
