Missoula’s Local Magician On a Mission To Help Communities

If you have ever had the chance to see magician Evan Disney perform you know that he is a big personality. It doesn't matter if he is doing close up magic with one person or on a stage in front of hundreds of people, he fills a room with his enthusiasm, energy and talent.

He has appeared in multiple movies, documentaries and has been on the game show "Let's Make a Deal", and had an appearance on "America's Got Talent". He has recently appeared on a reality competition show called The Blox. In Evan's own words it is like "Shark Tank meets the Real World". Evan's company "UNO Of A K.I.N.D." was one of 100 chosen to take part in this project out of 50,000 applicants to appear on the show.

I had the opportunity to speak with Evan about his business he told me that "UNO Of A K.I.N.D". is an acronym that stands for Unique, Natural and Organic for Kindness to Inspire New Directions. The Blox is a "live in" reality show where entrepreneurs compete against each other in daily challenges to see who has the best entrepreneurial spirit. It was filmed back in February and Evan's season started September 4th. New episodes are released weekly and are available to stream on Facebook and on Prime.

One of Evan's other jobs is helping organizations with fundraising by performing his magic. He is a competitive magician and a member of the World Famous Magic Castle. Coming up this fall Evan is planning, the Hamilton Fall Family Festival at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds on Saturday October 5th from noon until 5 pm. He is also in the planning stages of the third annual Missoula Fall Family Festival which will take place on Halloween. Both of these events will be open for non-profit organizations looking to be a part of the event.
